Dr. Byron McQuirt is a highly respected, board-certified physician focusing on adult and forensic psychiatry. Dr. McQuirt earned his medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas, then completed his internship and residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. His dedication to addiction psychiatry earned him an "Outstanding Resident" award during his residency. He also completed specialized training in trauma assessment through the Victims of Violence program, gaining deep insight into the psychological impact of trauma and effective treatment methods.
