West Georgia Wellness Center is a nationally accredited, state-licensed residential treatment facility specializing in serious mental health conditions and substance use disorders. We are not a crisis stabilization unit or a short-term detox facility — we are a comprehensive residential treatment program designed to produce lasting recovery, not just short-term symptom relief.
Our Hiram, Georgia facility is intentionally located close to Atlanta but removed from the stressors and triggers of city life. The therapeutic environment itself is part of the treatment — structured, safe, and focused entirely on healing.

Residential Mental Health Treatment
24-hour inpatient psychiatric care for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD, BPD, schizophrenia, and other serious mental health conditions. Most stays are 30 to 90 days.
Residential Substance Abuse Treatment
Structured inpatient treatment for alcohol, opioid, stimulant, and polysubstance dependence with integrated psychiatric support. Most stays are 30 to 90 days.
Medical Detox
Physician-supervised withdrawal management for alcohol, opioids, and benzodiazepines, integrated with residential treatment. Most stays are 3 to 10 days.

West Georgia Wellness Center serves adults 18 and older struggling with serious mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or both. We serve clients from throughout Georgia, including Atlanta, Marietta, Kennesaw, Columbus, Savannah, Macon, Augusta, and Gainesville, as well as clients from Alabama, Tennessee, and other Southeastern states.
Our programs may be appropriate if you or your loved one is experiencing:
